Yesterday the FCC made its grab for controlling the providers of the internet and thus eventually controlling the content of the internet. Make no mistake about this power grab, it is designed to open the door for government control over the internet, and thus directly government control over the right of the people to engage in free speech. This FCC move, approved by Obama, is just another in the long line of government takeovers we have witnessed since this extreme left wing President and his extreme left wing henchmen in Congress have wrought since gaining control. The list grows and grows: Healthcare, Banking and Finance, Student Loans, the Automobile Industry, Energy regulation by fiat--the list goes on and on. What these extremists want is to completely remake this country into their own twisted vision of what a "progressive" country should be. We have to fight them tooth and nail.
Our next best hope is that the overwhelming rebuttal of their agenda was heard loud and clear in the last election. They know their time is limited, and thus the huge rush in this lame duck Congress to pass their pet projects. The job of our new Congress in the next year will be to dismantle what ever they can of the damage that has been done to our country and Constitution. Now that they are no longer in complete power, the extreme leftists are now calling for "bi-partisanship." I say, ignore those calls. It is time to take back our country.

Flyover Country is a mindset rather than a location. It is a place in the American consciousness where family values still rule and self reliance is preferred over the nanny state. The people of Flyover Country are derided by the effete liberal left for clinging to their values and beliefs. So be it, we cling proudly to the true meaning of the American experience.
